| Wounded Knee Creek is in southwestern South Dakota. It flows into the White River. The Lakotas killed at Wounded Knee are buried together on a hill. Today a monument stands in Wounded Knee Cemetery. It is there so that we will remember the Lakotas who died at Wounded Knee in 1890. |
